Hope Cares Ministry

At Hope Church, we’re committed to living out the call of Galatians 6:2: “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” As our community grows, so does our opportunity to care for one another and extend the love of Jesus to Charleston. That’s why we’re excited to launch Hope Cares—a ministry dedicated to supporting the needs of both our church family and our neighbors.

What is Hope Cares?

Hope Cares is a ministry focused on two key areas:

In-reach Ministry: Our in-reach team is here to help meet the needs within our congregation. If you or someone you know is ill, experiencing a family emergency, or going through a tough time, Hope Cares is here to help. We coordinate meal trains, offer transportation to medical appointments, and provide support in times of crisis, like home disasters.

Outreach Ministry: We’re also building ways to reach out to our neighbors in Charleston. This includes gathering resources, organizing volunteer opportunities, and developing partnerships with local organizations. Whether it’s serving through Habitat for Humanity or supporting community initiatives, our outreach ministry helps us extend the love of Christ beyond the walls of Hope.

How Can You Get Involved?

Hope Cares is all about family helping family—and we’d love for you to be part of it. Whether you can offer a ride, prepare a meal, or just lend a hand, we need your help.

To get involved or let us know about a need, simply fill out a Hope Cares request form below, at the back of the church, or reach out directly to our ministry coordinator, Tracy.

Join Us in Serving

As we care for each other and our community, we grow stronger together. Hope Cares gives us the chance to serve in practical ways, build relationships, and share Christ’s love.

We look forward to seeing how God will use this ministry to bless our church and our city!
